6th PhD Research Symposium
(In conjunction with 23rd ICDCIT – 2027)
January 8th – 11th, 2027
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology
Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
6th PhD Research Symposium
Ph.D. students are invited to submit summarized version of completed or nearly completed doctoral dissertations for the 6th Ph.D. Research Symposium (PRS 2027), organized as part of 23rd ICDCIT 2027. The symposium aims to provide an international platform for doctoral researchers to present their novel theoretical contributions, methodological innovations, experimental validations, or practical applications in Computer Science and Engineering and its applications across diverse domains.
The advancement of Intelligent Technology is transforming the way computational platforms perceive, learn, and autonomously interact with complex real-world environments. Modern intelligent technology systems are implemented as software frameworks, embedded devices, cyber-physical systems, cloud-edge infrastructures, or autonomous platforms which are increasingly powered by advances in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Knowledge Engineering, and Data-Driven Decision Intelligence. These systems are capable of emulating cognitive functions such as perception, reasoning, adaptive learning, planning, uncertainty handling, autonomous decision-making, and continuous optimization, thereby enabling intelligent automation across diverse application domains.
The symposium offers an opportunity for research scholars to showcase their innovative work, receive valuable feedback from experts, and interact with fellow researchers from academia and industry. It also facilitates the exchange of ideas, promotes collaborations, and highlights how academic research can be translated into practical industrial and societal applications. Furthermore, the symposium encourages young researchers to gain insights into emerging research trends and identify future research directions.
The 6th Ph.D. Research Symposium will be held during 8th–11th January 2027. Authors of accepted book chapters, selected through a rigorous peer-review process, will be invited to present their research during the symposium.

Submission Guidelines
Intended participants must submit a 5-page synopsis of their thesis for the initial review by our expert committee members. Authors of shortlisted submissions will subsequently be invited to submit a summarized thesis of not more than 25 pages within the stipulated deadline. The Ph.D. scholar must be the first author, while the supervisor(s) may be included as co-author(s). The summarized thesis should include sufficient information about the problem statement, scientific & technical approach used to solve the problem, along with the result analysis of the work to review and judge the worth of the research. The summarized thesis must have a similarity index of not more than 15% including self. We will check similarity index in our end through turnitin software. There should be a minimum of two Scopus indexed journal publications as a part of the thesis work and the thesis preferably awarded in the last two years. The submissions should be in PDF format. The write-up should be presented in Springer format and the papers should be submitted electronically. Based on the jury’s recommendation the symposium will present the best thesis award.
